CENTRAL COMMITTEE FOR FLOOD AND STORM CONTROL-NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE

TO:

Committees for Flood and Storm Control and Search and Rescue along the coastal area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa

The tropical storm had grown up to typhoon and about 450 km on the East  offshore from Phu Yen coast (the co-ordinate about 13,4⁰ N and 113,4⁰ E according to Hong Kong Observation at 10.00 am Viet Nam local time on 3 August).

Central committee for flood and Storm control- National committee for Search and Rescue request cities, provincial Committees for Flood and Storm Control and Search and Rescue:

            1.In the next 24 hours, the dangerous area was identified is the middle part of Eastern sea which include Hoang Sa area and Truong Sa archipelago. Therefore, determinedly request the owners of boats and ships which are operating on sea get out of affected area and find the shelter.

            2.For the province which have great number of boats and ships still can not get out of dangerous area must keep contact, timely organize to rescue.

3.Strictly control the sailing to sea of the near –shore fishing boats (within 500 sea mile)

            ­4. For the province from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai be ready to implement the respond plan to typhoon, strengthen house, anchor boats, ensure the safety of property and people’s life, and prepare for rain, flood, and whirlwind.

            5.The Standing search and rescue agencies, the Committees for Flood and Storm Control and Search and Rescue of , Sectors, Ministries and Localities maintain force, means on 24 hours according to the plan for search and rescue, be ready to carry out and solve problems.
