No.09 typhoon – Durian moved to the East and gradually to the West . Because of the storm’s influence, the strong wind force between the East and West was at Beaufort Scale 9, 10, near the typhoon center was at Beaufort Scale 11, 12, gusting above 12, high waves, fierce strong sea. In addition, because of the influence of the cold weather strengthens at Gulf of Tonkin, Central Part offshore and there are strong wind force at North East sea was at Beaufort Scale 6, 7, gusting above 2, strong sea.

To proactively prevents and response, CCFSC requests:

1. Prohibit boats and ships to the sea

            2. Inform boats and ships are at sea move to the shelters

3. Request the Directors of CCFSC of provinces, cities  inform to the Chairman of people’s committee of provinces,  cities  to prohibit boats and ships to the sea outside location

4. Report the direction and implementation by 20 pm on 01/12/2006.

5. VTV and VOV update this telegraph continuously on news at the nightfall on 01/12/2006 until 7 am on 02/12/2006
