-         Committee for Flood and Storm Control and Search and Rescue of Quang Ngai

CCFSC informs the direction of The Standing Vice Prime Minister - Nguyen Sinh Hung at meeting at 7 am on 01/12/2006 for ensuring safety for fishermen to the typhoon No.09 – DURIAN as follow:

1. Request the chairman of people’s committee gives direction to ensure safety for boats and ships operating at the dangerous area.

2. In the present, there are 31 ships still at the area between Hoang Sa and Truong Sa (according to the report of The High Command of Border Guard) at 15.8⁰ N latitude and 114.2⁰ E longitude, need tomove immediately from the dangerous area. The dangerous areas was defined according to the telegraph No.03/CD-TW – Durian 21 pm on 30/11/2006 by CCFSC.

3. Report to CCFSC about the Provincial direction and implementation within 15 pm on 01/12/2006 to inform Prime Minister.

4. The storm still have a complicated fluctuation, request monitoring closely and on duty 24 hours, simultaneously arrange leaders on duty 24 hours to give directions in case of unexpected events.
